“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Rain droplets come down from the skies (with different degrees of intensity). It waters the earth and by that action, the weather cools, plants grow, seeds are provided (Continuity), and also bread (Sustenance) to the eater (beyond the farmer).
Interesting you will agree but guess what, So is God’s Word!
This implies that if it is a word from the Lord it will and must provide something to sustain you for the moment and something you can plan for the future.
God never acts just for one day. He provides a “rolling-over” transgenerational type of blessing. He doesn’t begin and abandon His project halfway; No, not at all.
You must never let the devil get you to a point of frustration that you stop blessing your own life, family, investments, career, community, and nation.
Today in the set boundaries called Nigeria, most of us need to deliberately and consistently bless this Nation, the bible says “By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted, But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.” (Prov 11:11)
The church as God’s change agent on earth needs to bring a reversal of curses on this land and draw down great blessings on our nation again in the Name of Jesus.
God’s Word is a messenger and will prosper only where it is sent.
There is power in words, we must use it wisely as it will become our reality. There is still so much to be done.
No matter who wins the election, you have a responsibility to decree God’s blessings and will over Nigeria.
Today let’s declare this together
Oh God of creation, direct our noble cause
Guide our leaders right
Help our youth the truth to know
In love and honesty to grow
And living just and true
Great lofty heights attain
To build a nation where
peace and justice shall reign
LET US PRAY:
Today we Pray for the peace of Nigeria:
“May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.”
For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.”
For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.” Psalms 122:6-9 NIV.
Nigeria Shall Be Great Again!
In Jesus’ Name. Amen
