New Eyes – Seeing Life Through God’s Eyes
“So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.”
– 2 Corinthians 5:16
“You are a product of your own personal environment. What you have observed and what you have been taught affects your level of expectancy and can hinder you from receiving the miracle you need.”

Have you ever had to get new pair of eyeglasses? If so, you know what a dramatic difference they make. They help you to see with “new eyes.”
God wants you to see with new eyes, too…the eyes of His Spirit. As with new eyeglasses, His eyes will make an astounding difference in the way you see other people and their relationship with you.
In the flesh, the Laodicean believers saw themselves as being pretty well-off and in a good spiritual condition. (Revelations 3:14-22)
The Lord saw them quite differently. He was deeply concerned because, in His eyes, they were “wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.” What a difference!
How do you see those who oppose you, hurt you, and “lord it over” you? Do you see them through eyes of anger, inferiority, dislike, hatred, or fear?
Would you like to see life differently – through God’s eyes?
If you would, He has already provided for you to have His sight, for He says, “Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.” (2 Corinthians 5:16, NKJV).
God gives you new spiritual eyes…only learn to open and use them! When you do, you will experience great rest in God’s knowledge of what other people are really all about. You will see Him differently, too!
LET US PRAY:
Heavenly Father, thank you that in my new birth in You I received new spiritual eyes with which to see others Your way. So I no longer must wrestle with or be troubled by my own opinions, judgments, or analysis of people.
I rejoice that You have lifted this burden and I look forward to the peace that comes in seeing through You. May I always see life through the new eyes of the Spirit.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
