Purposeful Praying (1)
One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”
2 He said to them, “When you pray, say:
“‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.
3 Give us each day our daily bread.
4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’”
– Luke 11:1-4
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
– 1 John 3:1-3

Purpose Lesson
The mentality you should have when you pray is that you are talking to the one you love and who loves you, Father. Hallowed speaks to God’s consistency. Hallowed be your name speaks to His consistent authority and character.
This should be your underlining mentality to have when you pray that God is Father, who is ever faithful, consistent, full of authority and character.
The Father really wants to meet our needs, all manner of needs without discrimination. To receive forgiveness, you must forgive others too.
When you pray, you must do so in full understanding of your identity that you are God’s child. Talk to God with affinity, intensity, importunity, and audacity.
Be purposeful when you pray, you will get an answer. No more guilt feelings. Affirm yourself in His love. Nothing will he withhold from you, don’t feel disqualified. You are entitled to the Father’s estate.
Want to be sure of God’s will in prayer? Check your anxiety index. If faith rises within you as you ask, you are in the Father’s will. If you are full of restlessness and anxiety while you pray, your request is most likely not God’s will.
You are God’s child, and if you are not sure, ask for God’s mercy. Make peace with God today and ask Him to make you His own. You are invited, come partake of what Father has prepared for you.
The Holy Spirit is the governor over all of God’s affairs and the ultimate administrator.
Believe and Confess, Salvation comes from confession. Great things come from confession. Never stop speaking.
Purpose Prayer
Father, I thank you because you have lavished me with your love. Thank you for calling me your child, so I make my boast in you to say I am a child of God.
Father I confess that I am like Jesus on the earth, I reflect the glory of God just like Jesus. I am pure in heart and there is no accusation in my life, the devil has nothing on me.
Father, I pray that I may grow to know you better. I will no longer be a stranger to your presence. I am a son in my Father’s house. Thank you for calling me your own.
God Almighty my Father, you are the God of wisdom, God of Power, ill-will, and curses have no influence on me.
Father in the name of Jesus, I have no anxiety. I do not worry, I do not fear any drought.
Father! Be merciful to me. Help me and forgive me. I trust in the Lord so I am blessed. My confidence is in you.
Father my stability is unshaken. My root is stable, My root is strong, I am stabilized, and My future is stable. Everything I lay my hands on works. Nothing in my life will go into decay anymore.
Father whatever the heat may come on the system of the world, I will not be afraid. I refuse fear and its agencies. My life is irrigated by the waters of heaven.
