Witness For Christ
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

The most important purpose that all Christians have on earth is to be a witness to the good news of reconciliation through Christ. This is otherwise called the great commission. It is also a command, not a suggestion. If we are saved, God expects us to tell other people.
The actual salvation of a soul is done by the Holy Spirit. He is the one that takes the message that we share and convicts the hearts of sin, righteousness, and justice.
Our purpose, assignment, and ministry are to be the delivery vessel for the Good News that Jesus loves, He is able to save from sin and He changes lives.
Most of us got saved because someone preached. After all, faith comes from hearing the word of God.
How will people get saved if they don’t get to hear the message?
And how will they hear unless someone speaks?
Finally, How will you speak unless you are sent?
Thanks to God for sending Jesus Christ to save humanity from the hold of Sin and Satan. And now, to everyone that has received and accepted that salvation, they have been sent to share with others the gospel of Christ and His kingdom.
Every sinner will only get saved through the direct or indirect effort of another Christian and that person can be you. It won’t come easy, but it is worth all the effort, time, and energy.
The Bible says – The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
God wants (craves, desires) ALL HUMANS SAVED! Read that again.
And you and I are to the herald of this good news to the world.
Let’s all wake up to our responsibility and assignment to be a witness for Christ, to become that link, that voice, that epistle of light, that divine love expression that will attract many souls into the kingdom of God.
LET US PRAY:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to the world to save a sinner like me.
I thank you for the missionaries, preachers, and evangelists that you have used to bring the message of salvation to my community and nation.
Thank you, Lord, for everyone that has been faithful to the great commission.
Help me Lord to be a faithful witness of Christ. Help me to preach christ in all circumstances.
May the great commission become my utmost desire today and all life long.
