Praying Mother
“But Samuel was ministering before the Lord—a boy wearing a linen ephod. 19 Each year his mother made him a little robe and took it to him when she went up with her husband to offer the annual sacrifice.
20 Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, “May the Lord give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed for and gave to the Lord.” Then they would go home.
21 And the Lord was gracious to Hannah; she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord”.
– 1 Samuel 2:18-21 | NIV
” The more praying there is in the world, the better the world will be; the mightier the forces against evil everywhere.”

The ‘barren’ woman, Hannah was instrumental in birthing the national transformation that Israel needed in the day of national and spiritual decadence that Eli and his sons engendered.
Though everyone in Israel knew there was a problem having been at some point objects of oppression themselves only Hannah knew the solution lay in birthing a replacement through her womb!
In the midst of her ‘disgrace’, marital crisis, and from the ashes of her life she chose to bring hope and a brighter day to the whole nation.
Eli, the failed religious leader himself would go on to describe Hannah as the one who “…prayed for [Samuel] and gave [Samuel] to the Lord”.
Hannah wailed change upon the nation. She rended the heavens with her loud cries until a national savior was released in Samuel.
This action underscores the truth that women are needed for birth transformation, reformation, or lasting change in every community.
We need our women to arise and travail so as to birth a new nation. That’s what their womb is for! All women have this Hannah capacity.
(Jeremiah 4:31; Galatians 4:19) Zion brings forth only after much travail of soul.
The role of women and mothers in national transformation cannot be under-emphasized. It is believed that most third-world countries are so majorly because they have relegated the place of women in society.
For us as a nation and society to experience a sustainable rebirth, the role, and importance of women especially mothers have to be recognized and celebrated.
In your personal affairs, I urge you to recognize and appreciate the sterling roles mothers have played in your becoming. Their sacrifice, love, commitment, resilience, and passion have often been the fuel on which great lives and success stories are built.
So now let women (and prophetic men too) go into their closets to birth sons and daughters in deep, passionate, soul-rendering prayer.
These Change Agents will model the changes we long to see in our political and religious landscapes.
Let the Prayer Movement begin!
Let praying women arise!
Let the loud cries of intercessors resound to distant shores!
Till the other realm, where God lives, is compelled to respond!
God bless our women and mothers
LET US PRAY:
In Jesus’ Name, I declare
– I have the divine ability to raise men and develop them into their God-given purposes.
– I have all the resources that I need to win in life.
– I am filled with the spirit of wisdom for divine strategies against the enemy.
– In Jesus’ Name, I bind all enemies and they are no match for me.
– I walk in the full restoration of all things and receive back all I had earlier lost to the enemy.
– I bless all mothers and women with the life and grace of God.
– I pray that every gender bias and barrier against women is broken and destroyed.
Thank you Father for answering my prayers always. I am forever grateful.
Amen.
