Mount Up With Wings As Eagles

The eagle is an unusual bird because it has mastered flying into a storm. It “mounts” strong winds as though it is going up a staircase. It is the only bird that you will find flying during a storm. 

God desires that you approach life with the majesty of an eagle!

Do not be afraid of headwinds or opposition; use them; mount them like stairs for your success!

The word “wait upon” comes from the Hebrew word, “qawah”, which denotes, someone who is “serving” as they wait. It is an active process and not a passive one. 

You might be battling to make your finances work; you might be fighting to fund your education; you might be laboring to make a small business successful; you might be struggling to get ahead in your job; you might even be going through vicious persecution, that even threatens your very life.

Beloved; from today, start thinking about it differently!

In one of her books, Joyce Meyer wrote;

“Eagles are not intimidated by the heights and forceful winds that other birds may fear. Instead, they take advantage of the gales, flying into the wind, and setting their wings so the gusts only lift them higher. Nor do eagles waste time battling with other birds that are pests to them. When attacked, they simply mount up higher and higher until they reach an altitude in which their enemies cannot survive.”

No matter how dark, no matter how challenging, you are not going under; you are going over, God has not brought you this far to leave you stranded… it’s no time to give up!

The Lord, Your God, My God, Our Father is All-powerful, Almighty, All-knowing, and All-able.

No matter the storm, it is your stepping stone to manifest the glory of our King.

God is set to make all things new…!

This is God’s promise… your strength shall be renewed like that of an old eagle that has just gone through a rebirth.

LET US PRAY:

Dear Heavenly Father, God of all flesh I celebrate and worship you today. I repent of being afraid of opposition, challenges, and storms. From this day forward, I choose to wait on you in all situations, I will not cower, I will not be afraid, I will mount the storms like the Eagle.

Lord, help me to accept the reality that my life is on a pilgrimage, not a Lockdown! Give me the grace to soar on new “wings of faith”. Open my heart and eyes to see what new dimension beckons upon me. Help me to be pulled into the reality of my prophetic future.-

I declare my old life of woes is past, and a completely new season has come for me. The grace and Favor of God are with me today and always as I move forward.
