Remember the viral video; ’Mummy, be Calming down’. Well, it was an excerpt from a Mummy-son moment.
Truth is we all need to always remember that God is in control and stay CALM in the midst of any and all situations. Here is an acronym for C.A.L.M we can adopt,
C – Celebrate God’s goodness.
Philippians 4:4 says “Rejoice in the Lord always”.
We must remember to always be full of praise and worship to Jehovah. Sing and make melody from your heart to Him. Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished”.
We have been called to work on a finished project, it’s to praise God all through life.
Count your blessings and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.
How will you express your joy for God’s goodness today?
A – Ask God for help.
Philippians 4: 6 reads “Let your requests be made known to God”. James 1:5 in the message translation reads “…pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help…”
You will do well to keep a prayer journal. Start with today’s requests. You will be amazed at the record of answered prayers in a few years to come when you review your journal.
L – Leave your concerns with God
Philippians 4: 6 reads “ With thanksgiving, Let your requests be made known to God”.
Do you see any successful farmer that keeps going back to dig the planted seedlings every other day? Only a child does that. The farmer plants and then continues every other farm activity with the belief that the good seed will surely germinate.
Don’t keep meditating on your needs and requests in your head, be anxious for nothing.
Anytime you remember your concerns, leave it with God. Thank him for relieving you of your anxious thoughts.
M – Meditate on good things.
Philippians 4:8 reads “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things”
Think about good outcomes, anticipate a fruitful day, and be full of expectations.
Plan your day to include time alone with God.
C – celebrate God’s goodness.
A – ask God for help always.
L – leave your concerns with God.
M- meditate on good things.
If you make this a lifestyle, you will stay calm and victorious no matter the storm you face.

LET US PRAY:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the privilege and blessing of talking to you. I celebrate the access I have through Christ Jesus. I receive grace to rejoice always and pray continually.
I have the mind of Christ. My mind is stayed on whatever is pure, right, true, lovely, and admirable.
I will be strong and resilient in prayer.
I have the grace and peace of God in abundance today and always.
In Jesus’ Name, I ask. Amen.
