Walk On Water
“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” He said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.

The extraordinary act of Jesus walking on water is
Have you ever been to the beach? Waves of water rising to gigantic heights and crashing down with loud splashes. The water moves restlessly in unending replays.
How about taking a boat ride in the deep waters in the dark? Even a professional fisherman will never go alone.
How do you feel?
Now, imagine Jesus standing before you — walking to you on the waves, while the storm continues to rage, waving to you to get out of the boat…
What will you do?
Can you let yourself believe that it is real? Can you allow yourself to trust what you’ve never seen before in all your many years of experience and expertise?
The Messiah is calling you to leave the known, tested, trusted, and well-crafted safe zone and join Him in the uncertain, untested, soft, and chaotic water terrain. He really thinks that you can walk on the water too.
What are you going to do?
Sincerely you have two choices here — belief or doubt, trust or fear.
Someone once wrote,” Nothing really great happens in your comfort zone”
It’s time to be courageous and move beyond the safe zone into the brave zone. After-all men are now flying to space for tourism.
Child of God, step out of the convenience and safety of the boat (the so-called well-proven ways, systems, and methods built from experience by humans) and walk on the raging seas (enter into the new, never seen before manifestations that only God’s presence can sustain and do it afraid).
It’s time to choose trust over logic, choose belief over doubt, experience the miraculous over the mundane, and do the impossible. You too can walk on water!
Let Us Pray;
Dear Lord Almighty, only you alone can do what no man can do.
I choose your word over my experiences. I choose your instruction over my reasoning and logic. I choose to trust in you over fear of the unknown.
Help me to hear you clearly and to obey promptly at all times.
In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen.
