A New Thing
God Is Doing A New Thing
” Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
– Isaiah 43:18-19

That is God speaking to you! It’s a beautiful promise, and when God says it, then that settles it.
During his lifetime King David watched his kingdom rise to the heights promised to Abraham.
Paul, the great apostle, said of David, the King; God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do’. — Acts 13:22 NIV
One of the greatest gifts of King David’s life is this: his absolute trust in the goodness and mercy of God no matter what raged around him.
David’s story reminds me that it’s not how you start life that matters; it’s how you finish.
What about you?
You may come from an unknown background with no spoon, talk less a silver spoon.
Your blood may just be the ordinary red like everyone else, nothing blue.
Forget it! It’s not how you start that really matters…
What occurred in the first couple of chapters of your life that has caused you to count yourself out?
What has happened in the course of life that leaves you feeling left behind?
I believe that’s going to change. I see that God is raising up an army.
You may not look like much to be concerned with, but you are mighty. You are one of those who is tired of listening to the enemy’s lies about your life and is ready to believe God’s promises!
You are not defined by the past. Good or Bad.
His love for you isn’t based on your perfect performance, but on the perfect love He has for you.
God, the creator of all, the source of all life is for you 100 percent.
But unless you believe that wholeheartedly, you’ll never experience it as you’ll not trust Him with your deepest longings. Instead, you will try and labor to satisfy your longing outside of who He is, what He provides, and who He has called you to be.
So that’s your decision to make. Will you believe?
LET US PRAY:
Dear Lord God, I say yes to your will, promise, and ways. I choose to trust and obey you. I rise and embrace your plans for me. I let go and forget the past, I refuse to dwell on past failures and accolades.
Lord, I remove my mind from what you are no longer blessing. I prune my mind from aging and obsolete realities. I am renewed in the spirit of my mind. I set my heart on a pilgrimage. My life takes forward traction in God’s Plan for my life. I am moving forward. My heart will seek and find you always.
I choose to see new things by God in my life.
In Jesus Christ’s Name, I Pray. Amen.
