Welcome to The Capstone Missions Week 2023.

From today till Sunday, we will be sharing with you resources and messages that are mission and evangelism-focused. As a people saved by grace, our first and most important call is to bring others into the saving knowledge of Christ.

The startling success stories of movies like Harry Potter, the Game of Thrones series, and the evergreen Star Wars are no longer news. The love for superhero characters like Black Panther, Wonder Woman, Superman, Spiderman, the Incredibles, Batman, and others is still trending.

These fictional characters are a reflection of thoughts and imaginations in the inner recesses of the mind of us all as humans.

Critics and fans alike refer to these interesting but sometimes controversial literary works as intellectually savvy, gripping, vivid, and imaginative.

If people are generally hero-hunting and battle-weary, then it’s a pointer that they are seeking something beyond what they have, something extraordinary.

The world is hungry for power and for good to win. It is time as Christ’s followers to let the world know that the Bible, God’s word reveals the way to win, the truth that is timeless, and the life that is eternally powerful.

Jesus said, You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest. The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike! (John 4:35 – New Living Translation)

In light of the above statement by Jesus, we need to rethink our expectations and approach to the gospel message.

Before we conclude that all the not-so-welcoming reactions to the gospel are a sign of the end times, we must first be sure that we have indeed done our best at presenting the message.

Before you tag the apathy towards the gospel message as the spirit of rebellion, pause, and be sure you have prayed and communicated the message in the spirit of Christ’s love and not half-heartedly.

While we have no control over people’s reactions, we have the responsibility to present Christ in an unmistakably excellent, loving, and flawless way.

Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father. (Matthew 5:16 -TLB), The message translation reads thus; Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. (paraphrased – The Message)

No more excuses. Focus on your responsibility, not the reaction.

It’s time to arise, get creative and innovative with the message, and bring out the God colors in this world. Use your talent and resources cheerfully to spread the gospel message. Do it all in the love of God.

… you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. (2 Timothy 4:5)

Jesus said the harvest is ripe and the harvesters will be handsomely rewarded. Choose to be a harvester today and all life long!

LET US PRAY:

Dear Heavenly Father, the Lord of the Harvest! Open the eyes of my heart to see as you see. Show me my place to harvest for you and Help me to stay focussed on my assignment.

Fill me Lord with the love and passion to save souls for the kingdom.

I will not be weary, I will not be tired, and I will do the work of an evangelist all the days of my life.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. ²This is what the ancients were commended for.

³By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

⁴By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

⁵By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.”^[a] For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. ⁶And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

⁷By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

Now here is How To Pray (Corporately or In Private):

Step 1: Confess every known sin and cleanse with the Blood of Jesus.

Step 2: Loosen every guilt feeling from your mind. Command Satan, your accuser, to leave.

Now say out loud to yourself: “I come boldly to the throne of grace through the Blood of Jesus. Today I obtain the mercy of the Lord!”

Step 3: Read out LOUD the Prayer scriptures (as indicated below)

Step 4: Prayer & PRAISE CONFESSIONS (For as long as required).

– Proclaim out LOUD through your lips to yourself that ‘the Lord is manifesting faith for kingdom exploits through me…”

(Pray and sing in loud tongues for about 10 minutes)

Step 5: (A Prayer of Thanksgiving for 1-3 Mins): In plain language, and by faith thank the Lord God for the blessings of the Spirit from Him to you.

Indeed, these again are the days of the Outpouring of God’s Spirit and Power and of His manifest Presence upon His Church upon the earth.

In Jesus’ Name, today I declare I have access to the Supernatural Realm where the Father lives.

Believers are not just Christians by religion or label; rather we are Children of God. God, the Most High, the Creator and Maker of Heaven and Earth is Our Father, Yes! Our Daddy!

What a powerful and awesome God we have. And the bible, the constitution shows us in Psalm 2:7-9 that he delights in conversing with us and making things happen for us. He is not a timid Daddy; He is a bold and audacious King. All we need is to discover our sphere of assignment and ask. It’s say it and have it!

So, today in full assurance of Faith that God is your Father, Join thousands of his children all over the world, and let’s pray to declare the following promises.

LET US PRAY:

Today! The Lord will restore (your name) fallen shelter, He will repair the broken walls and restore all ruins and will rebuild all that concerns me as it used to be, so that I may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that bear God’s name. These are the days I declare, when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills for me in Jesus’ Name. Amen. (Amos 9:11-13)

It is my season of rain and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. My threshing will continue until the grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and I will eat all the food I want and live in safety in my land. “God is not partial. All His children have His total Love, and all His gifts are freely given to everyone alike.”― Helen Schucman

Time and again God breaks out from the norm to remind us of His sovereignty and supremacy. Seeing that people were about to change the salvation message to following a set of rules, He poured out His Spirit on these men who had not even been baptized in water.

Yes, they were believers, but a rigid, religious, law-induced mindset would insist that they should have been baptized in water before going through Holy Ghost baptism classes. Not so with God!

If you believe that He isn’t partial, not biased at all…then you will see yourself only through the eyes of God’s affectionate love and care, you will see how eager He is to help you and bless you.

Don’t think that you have to get that qualification before the Lord blesses you? No! Good qualifications are good, but not the prerequisite for God to bless you with groundbreaking innovative ideas.

Who says God cannot heal you before you finish the treatment regimen? God can break man’s order of events to bless the one who “fears Him…”.

This is the season of the supernatural, God is intent on manifesting His glory if only we will believe and ask with an open mind. It is time to break forth and break loose from the norm!

It is time to step into the time of God, one that is blessing-laden for you, even in the midst of storm of recession, uncertainty, and crisis.

But do you respect and honor God enough to take Him at His word?

Will you wholeheartedly believe God’s message and His prophets in your life?

Then open up your heart and hands in expectation, God is about to break the rulebook and pour you a blessing too big to handle!

LET US PRAY:

Dear Almighty God, I open up my heart and hands to you. I ask that you break the routine and tilt the jars of blessing in my favor.

In Jesus’ Name, I declare every limit is broken off my life. I announce over my life, It is the season of breakthroughs and break forth. I receive ten times restoration, ten times prosperity, ten times favor, and ten times wisdom.

My life will bring glory and honor to God.

Amen.

It is immoral (and indeed satanic) to benefit from the gospel message, its anointing and grace yet be indifferent to contributing to its spread and advance so that others can enjoy the same blessings of healing and deliverance that you have received. For it is only when we oil the wheel do the auto vehicle progress without the friction of the component parts.

Luke 8:1-3 documented a great story in Financial Partnership.

When Jesus (and His Twelve disciples) embarked on His missionary and evangelistic preaching tours of cities and towns, He gave His undivided attention because certain people adequately provided His human needs. He lacked no financial support because He had very capable financial partners in some men and women who in the past had benefitted from His Ministry and were now in turn helping to support him out of their own means!

God’s Work will continue to depend on the support of such well-meaning, charitable individuals who take up the burden and responsibilities to make financial commitments to fund preachers as they embark on their ministerial expedition. This is the fastest and the only way the eternal gospel can be preached as a witness to all the earth in record time.

These financial partnerships can take the forms of direct financial donations to preachers, providing scholarships for preachers’ kids, helping to take care of preachers’ groceries and accommodation, paying their fares, or even providing them adequate transportation, etc (the list is endless).

To renege in this quintessential support to preachers is to side with the Anti-Christ and his agenda to cut off humanity from the flow of God’s Eternal Life.

Join the League of Kingdom Partners look for a true preacher in your community whose anointing and ministry gifting you have benefitted from and give him your financial support.

The satanic stereotype that all ‘preachers are liars’ is only what it is: A Stereotype. Charlatans and false preachers are the exceptions and not the norm. True, faithful preachers of the true gospel are in the majority.

It’s time for renewed collaborations between Preachers and Financiers. None is more important to God than the other. They shall both share alike in the Crown of Righteousness and the Eternal Reward that God promised all who preach His Word.

LET US PRAY:

Dear Heavenly Father, I receive grace to be a financial partner in your kingdom’s expansion on earth. Help me to give generously in support of your work. May I never become stingy, greedy, or weary. May my harvest be bountiful to the glory of your name. In Jesus Name I Pray.

If you’re waiting for everything in life to be perfect in order to begin rejoicing, then here’s a rather disappointing spoiler alert: life will never be all sunshine and roses; thorns and clouds will always make an appearance.

Jesus said it this way, In this world you will have trouble. — John 16:33

Though it may not seem so at first, this is actually good news. We don’t have to wake up each day and examine our current circumstances before choosing to live joyfully.

Every moment of every day is the perfect time to rejoice.

Paul, the same one who taught us to be content in every circumstance (Philippians 4:12), instructs us to rejoice in every circumstance as well.

Christ died so that we could live joyfully; let’s embrace it.

Let’s rejoice when the load seems heavy because we know we can’t bear it alone.

Let’s rejoice when there are more months than money because we know our God provides.

Let’s rejoice, well, always.

LET US PRAY:

Thank You, Lord Almighty, that my joy is not dependent on any person or circumstance. Now is the right time to begin living joyfully.
I rejoice always, I pray without ceasing and I give thanks in all circumstances.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen

The word worship actually evolved from the Old English word weorthscipe. “To worship, then, is to ascribe worth to someone or something.”

Worship happens anytime you turn your heart toward Heaven and say, “You are worthy.”

When you clear your calendar for prayer, turn the radio dial to praise music, or use your morning jog to recite Bible verses or your lunch break to meditate, this is worship.

Worship happens in neighborhoods, in living rooms, in open pastures. And, yes, worship happens in churches. When the people of God make a public and plural declaration of God’s goodness, worship is happening.

God is on the hunt for those who will imitate the angels, for people who will open their hearts and mouths and declare, “Glory to God in the highest Heaven.”

The Father… is actively seeking such people to worship Him. — John 4:23 NCV

Are you stressed? Worship God, who could store the universe in His pocket and the oceans in an eyedropper.

Are you ashamed? Worship Jesus, whose love never fades.

Are you bereaved? Open your heart to your Shepherd. He will lead you through the valley of sorrow.

Do you feel small? A few moments in front of the throne of your loving King will evaporate any sense of insignificance.

Are you excited? Give all the glory to God in humble adoration. Acknowledge Him as the source of all goodness.

Worship works wonders.

For your own sake do what the angels did: Give Jesus the gift of praise.

Don the robe of grace, soar on wings of faith, and take your place in the heavenly chorus and sing, “Glory to God in the highest.”

On our journey to purpose, w all have areas where we need to “do better” or “do right”. King James calls it “working righteousness”. Peter in Acts 10:34, said, “But in every ethnic group, he that fears God and does what is right…”

So as we grow in personally taking God at His word, but what about doing what is right?

Of course, there are many areas where we all must strive to do right, but in receiving from the Lord, especially with regard to breakthrough, increase, and financial prosperity, there are main areas we ought to do right.

You could sum them all up under financial stewardship. Breaking it down further, we all need to do right with regard to GIVING! This is a valuable lesson.

Personal giving is vital if we are to gain grounds like some of the people we so often envy. Quite a number of the well-known financially rich people are astute givers.

In giving we all must do better in paying our Tithes and Offerings, this is directly instrumental to kingdom advance here on Earth. You should give to kingdom causes, giving to our pastors and mentors, and finally but also of great importance, give to the poor or those with needs around us.

These stated areas are a huge opportunity to unlock blessings in our lives. Whether to charities, individuals, sponsoring a child through school, or feeding the poor and homeless…we all must do what is right as far as giving is concerned.

We must “build up the Church” by supporting mission work and expanding the network of Saints globally!

Do not let the economic recession, fear of financial insecurity, and pursuit of personal goals and desires make you stingy or greedy.

Prov 11:24 reads “One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.” Another translation puts it this way: “The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.” (MSG)

The heavens are looking for who to trust with wealth but such must be one with a generous heart. And it all starts by being generous with the little you have.

Without a doubt, there is great victory through Christ, but in the end, it must be personally accessed by those who fear God, take Him at His word, and do what is right, especially in the area of giving.

LET US PRAY:

Dear Almighty Father, the God of abundance, I celebrate your generosity towards me and your whole creation.

Grant me the grace to live with such a big heart of generosity and abundance mentality. Remove from me every feeling of financial insecurity and fear.

I receive grace to give of my money, time, and resources generously and in righteousness.

I give generously, freely, and willingly and it will be given to me in good measure, pressed down and shaken together in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
