Bold Prayers Honor God
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;
– Colossians 4:2 | NKJV
God isn’t offended by your biggest dreams or boldest prayers. He is offended by anything less.
If your prayers aren’t impossible to you, they are insulting to God. Why? Because they don’t require divine intervention. But ask God to part the Red Sea or make the sun stand still or float an iron ax-head, and God is moved to omnipotent action.
God loves keeping promises, answering prayers, performing miracles, and fulfilling dreams. That is who He is. That is what He does. And the bigger the request, the better, because God gets more glory.
The landmark moments in life are the miraculous moments when human impotence and divine omnipotence intersect, and they intersect when we draw a circle around the impossible situations in our lives and invite God to intervene.
I promise you this: God is ready and waiting. So while I have no idea what circumstances you find yourself in, I’m confident that you are only one prayer away from a dream fulfilled, a promise kept, or a miracle performed.
It’s absolutely imperative at the outset that you come to terms with this simple yet life-changing truth: God is for you.
If you don’t believe that, then you’ll pray small, timid prayers.
If you do believe it, then you’ll pray big, audacious prayers.
One way or the other, your small, timid, or big, audacious prayers will change the trajectory of your life and turn you into two totally different people.
Prayers are prophecies. They are the best predictors of your spiritual future. Who you become is determined by how you pray. Ultimately, the transcript of your prayers becomes the script of your life. In this season of greater things, think big with the script of your life.
Let Us Pray
Almighty God, bolster my prayer life! Make me persistent, bold, audacious, and specific. May I depend on communion with you as much as I depend on the air that I breathe. Teach me a little more each day what it looks like to pray bold and earnest prayers.
I receive the restoration of financial prosperity, abundant wealth, innovative wisdom, creative genius, and miraculous experiences for life and living. I walk in power, miracles, and favor with God and Man.
Lord, may I be renewed (and be aware) of your unfailing love for me and the Body of Christ. I declare that you, Lord, are my light (illumination) and my salvation!
Lord, I receive light and clarity in my dark moments (of uncertainties). I walk strong in the perfection of your plan for my life! I will never fail to fulfill your exact plans and purpose for my life.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
