13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

We continue our journey into Purpose by praying, studying, and receiving revelations from the word. Remember from yesterday, we have come to appreciate that the circumstances of our birth were not an accident.

The summation of your whole life before you met Christ is your sovereign foundation. Every child is sent, sent to do something for God. You have an apostolic assignment on earth that no one else can do.

Learn to celebrate what you have been given, rejoice in it and ask God for what He would have you do.

Here are some highlights from the evening session of Day Two yesterday;

Read Luke 2:8-14

Vs 8; Don’t take the night watches for granted. Keep watch like the shepherds, the course of the day is often determined by the activities during the night watches.

Vs 9; Ask that the glory of God will shine on your path. In the simplicity of your daily life and work, you will encounter God. An encounter with God will transform the mundane into a landmark. Pray for open heavens over your work.

Vs 10-11; Do not believe the narrative that there are no opportunities and nothing is happening. Opportunities abound but it takes keen eyes to see. Ask God for open eyes to see what is happening but the world does not know.

Vs 12; There is a sign for you. Stay woke and alert throughout the year as God will be leaving you clues and signs to channel you into purpose. 

Pray that the Lord will show you His peculiar signs as you journey through this year.

Vs 13-14; You are not alone, the host of heaven is with you. Don’t live oblivious of the presence of God’s army that are on guard over you. The host of heaven will walk with you everywhere you turn.

Remember your life is not a happenstance, you are unique, and significant with an assignment only you can perfectly deliver.

Furthermore, God has given His angels a charge over you. You have come to Mount Zion, to the company of heavenly host. You are not on your own.

LET US PRAY:

Read Luke 2:8-21, Zachariah 1:20-21, 2 Kings 6:16-17, Psalm 128:1-6.

Oh Lord let your glory shine on my path. As I do my work, let the heavens open.

The Heavens are open over me in Jesus’ Name.

Dear God, open my eyes to see what is happening that the world does not know. Show me the opportunities that abound in different areas of life.

I will not be afraid, I will not be stuck, and my eyes are anointed to see beyond the ordinary.

As I journey into this year, Lord show me spectacular signs. Show me the signs that you are with me. Show me the signs that will lead me to purpose. Show me your signs.

Dear God! Upon me this year, everywhere I turn, let the angelic host be with me. May the host of heaven travel with me every day and everywhere.

Father open my eyes to see the host of heaven that are with me. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world, I overcome all adversities. The powers of darkness are shattered before me. The plans of the enemy are destroyed.

In Jesus’ Name, I declare In receive the ministry of heralds that would announce me. I receive the ministry of craftsmen that will repair every broken wall in my life. I receive the ministry of wisemen to resource me and help me build purpose.
