Free From Fear
“And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives…”

At the center of Satan’s operations are two strategies; lies and fear. With these two, he has deceived and drawn people away from God.
For believers, it is challenging to remain in faith when one sees the daily report of death, destruction, terrorism, economic hardship, man inhumanity to man, moral decadence, and societal degradation.
But this again is satan’s intent…that we would think that God is losing the battle over the earth! If we do not align ourselves with truth, our hearts as well may fail!
This was Christ’s mission, to deliver men from a haunting fear…of death! (Heb 2:15). Paul overcame this fear by assurance in His relationship with Christ!
Just like one would be afraid to enter a badly built house, yet the same will move into a solid mansion without thinking twice, so also Paul boldly declares in faith, “For me to live is Christ [His life in me], and to die is gain [the gain of the glory of eternity]” (Phil 1:21)!
You will live in fear if you do not attend to your faith in Christ. Faith does not grow automatically. You must nurture and feed it! It is the only way to get out of the bondage of fear that is crippling the world today!
So make the first move, pick up your bible, begin in the new testament, and start feeding your spirit. Then, you will break free from the shackles of fear, worry and doubt while stepping into a life of faith, peace, joy, and hope!
Hebrews 10:22 reads “Let us all come forward and draw near with true hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness.
LET US PRAY:
Dear God, draw me close to you with a true heart.
I step forward in full assurance and absolute conviction in your power, wisdom, and goodness. Let your everlasting arms sustain and guard me.
In Jesus’ Name, I am delivered and completely free from fear today and always.
Amen.
