Luke could not trust the precious lives of the Saints under his watch to just anyone. He knew that his journey was one of grace. It began with grace, was sustained by the word of grace and he was certain it would end purely on the power of God’s grace.  He knew and so he in wisdom committed the Saints to the “Word of His Grace”.

Dear Child of God let us not get too sophisticated with new “revelations” and “insights” that we get drawn away from God’s Word.

As simple as it seems, Luke knew that if the believers continued to look into (or read and study) what the Bible calls the “Perfect Law of LIBERTY…” (James 1:25) they would retain the level of “blessedness” that God through grace guarantees the believer.

Sometimes plain reading the bible seems outdated, but this isn’t so.

When was the last time you just opened the bible to read and get to know more about God or His Christ?

Sometimes we only get to read the bible in church or when we are preparing for a presentation. Grace is contacted in God’s Word.

Take that walk back to the Word of God, glean page after page, and enjoy the new fragrance of Grace that builds you up and guarantees you an inheritance with the Father.

Don’t be discouraged! Don’t be drowned in breaking news, the latest updates, trendy technology, or celebrity gossip.

Be built up in Grace. Read more of your bible. A simple but sure remedy! Get started.

Dear Heavenly Father, I seek to know more of you today, draw me nearer to the beauty of your Holiness as revealed in your word. As I read and listen to your word, open my eyes of understanding to the realm of the supernatural. Expand my depth of understanding of your grace and power in Jesus Name. Amen
