Welcome to our monthly prayer and fasting focus for May 2023!
Our focus for this Month is pushing the saints into a greater understanding about the PURPOSE of our sonship through Christ! And our context is Ephesians 1: 1-23 and Hebrews 1.
We shall continue to pray with and for one another so that we can all “become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” as revealed in Ephesians 4: 13 NIV.
God’s Promise Remains: Ephesians 1: 4-6 NIV
“4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.”
We have been chosen and adopted as sons by God and as such all the resources, authority, and power of God’s Kingdom are available to us as we can go out and bear fruit that will last by bringing liberation to a dying/bound world.
It becomes important we see it as our responsibility to live as faithful and responsible representatives of our King here on earth and to make our lives as models for solving the world’s crisis and bringing solutions to the decayed world.
Let’s keep helping and encouraging one another to live within the purpose of God.
Let’s keep standing in the prayer of agreement with one another as we seek to live distinct Kingdom lives based on God’s Kingdom values as opposed to the values of the kingdom of this world.
It’s time to manifest your sonship as the whole earth eagerly waits to see and feel the positive impact of our sonship.

Scriptures For Prayer Focus: Ephesians 1: 1-23; Hebrews 1; John 1: 9-13; Titus 3: 5-8; Galatians 4: 1-7; Hebrews 12: 5-8; Proverbs 3: 11 (We have been made heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, Halleluyah!!)
Prayer Points:
‘The Right to become children of God (Our Christ Inheritance) (All Believers have been given the right to become children of God – children born not of natural descent, but born of God. All have become heirs having the hope of eternal life)
Right of Sonship given by the grace of God; joint heirs with Christ having the hope of eternal life (Ephesians 1: 18).
Son in Greek is ‘Huios’, which means kingship – Kingdom resources, authority and power of the Kingdom over the forces of evil and for exercising our dominion mandate on the earth (Luke 10: 19; Mark 16: 17-18; Acts 28: 3-5; Ephesians 1: 19-23; Revelation 5: 10; Revelation 11: 15).
Spirit of sonship is the Spirit of wisdom for building accurately and fulfilling divine purpose be it career, marriage, ministry, business, especially in the day of crisis.
Sonship is a reflection of our deep relationship with God (Romans 8: 15-17; John 15: 7)
Prayers for the spirit of wisdom and revelation for better understanding of our sonship/kingship/royalty through Christ and also for the enlightenment of the eyes of our hearts that we may know our hope, inheritance, and power as sons of God (John 19:10-11; Ephesians 1: 17-23).
