The Last Days
“What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now!
God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all—life healed and whole.”

The Last Days! These three words have sent shivers down our spine so many times. Once we turn on the news and hear of death, disease, a bomb blast, earthquake, or any terrible event, our minds race to these three words….”The Last Days”!
Without a doubt, we do live in “perilous times”. The days are dark and evil, no doubt. But for us, we are secure and guarded in Christ. This counter truth must remain at the forefront of our minds or else we will slide down the deep chasm of fear that is so powerful, it can separate us from the perfect peace that the Lord has promised us.
1 Peter 1:5 says “…And through faith, God is protecting you by His Power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see”. One translation puts it like this, “(you) who are being guarded through (your) faith…”.
Beloved, you are guarded by your own faith! Does it not make sense? Did Jesus not say “Be it unto you according to your faith”? (Matt 9:29). If your faith is built up and strong, secure, stable, and settled, then it will not matter what the news report says.
Your prayer life should be fully engaged. Daily engage the eternal word, spread the gospel of Christ through your words and actions, exercise the gifts of the Spirit and operate in supernatural authority. Then, you will be too busy to be afraid of the enemy and his attacks!
Will you engage and grow your faith and stay secure? Or will you continue to be swirled and tossed by news and events, terrified by the economic roller coaster and breaking news headlines?
The choice remains yours.
LET US PRAY:
In Jesus’ Name, I declare my faith is built on nothing else but Jesus Christ and His Righteousness. On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, I will not sink, I will not falter. I choose to grow in grace and grow in faith. I am protected and fully covered now and always. Amen.
