You Are On Assignment
“Just as You commissioned and sent Me into the world, I also have commissioned and sent them (believers) into the world.”
– John 17:18 (AMP)

How do you look at yourself? I hope you don’t just interpret your identity based on your acquisitions, people’s opinion, or selfish ambition.
Do you see yourself as one sent?
This is a fundamental question that each of us must carefully consider.
Why? because one day we will each stand before the one who sent us to give an account of our time here on this mission field called earth.
Paul, warning the Church in Rome, said in Romans 14:12 “So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God”.
Jesus Himself gave an account to His Father as recorded in John 17:12; While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.”
He had protected those He was sent to.
What about you?
Are you doing what you have been sent to do?
Are you acting on the instruction God gave you?
Do you share the gospel or just mind your business?
Is kingdom influence and expansion a priority for you or mere lip service?
Do you protect the saints or do you spread rumors and backbite?
If your answer is in the negative, well, it is not too late to start. As long as we are on this side of heaven, we must live intentionally and purpose-driven.
Share the good news of Christ’s work of reconciliation, protect and support the fellowship of believers, grow your kingdom influence, and prioritize kingdom advance in every way possible.
Seek God’s face and receive clarity on what He might be asking you to do. And whatever He asks you to do, just do it.
You are sent!
LET US PRAY:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for choosing me and sending me. I receive wisdom, understanding, clarity, and all blessings that I need to fulfill my assignment.
In Jesus’ Name, I declare I will be fruitful in all good works and my fruit will abide to the glory of God and advancement of His Kingdom.
Amen
