Deborah’s Are Rising (2)
The Deborahs Are Rising: A 5-Day Devotional
“Villagers in Israel would not fight; they held back until I, Deborah, arose, until I arose, a mother in Israel.”
— Judges 5:7
Deborah’s rising was not as a warrior first, but as a mother in Israel. Her strength was rooted in her maternal calling to nurture, protect, and preserve destiny.
True leadership is birthed from compassion. Whether biological, spiritual, or societal mothers, women carry wombs of destiny.
God is calling women to arise, not in competition or comparison, not to change their gender, but rather in affirmation of their God-given identity to birth, nurture, protect, and preserve the new.
Prayer Confession
“I arise as a mother in my generation. I carry life, hope, and healing to my community in Jesus’ name.”
This is my Rehoboth season. The Lord has made room for me, and I will be fruitful in the land. I will do greater things because He who called me is faithful.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
