Entering Rest
“Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.”
– Hebrews 4:1
Thursday, March 30, 2023
Our Monthly Three days Fasting and Prayer April 2023 started yesterday with a focus on Heb.4:1-16.
Prayer Focus /Concerns: Restoring Rest Upon The Church Against Social Pressures and Persecutions (Economic, Medical, Marital, Political Polarization, etc).
We shall continue to pray with and for one another against the persecution of believers’ personal lives, families, work, and ministry.
God’s Promise Remains: Hebrews 4:1 NIV
“Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it.”
As the wordings of the song says “…your promise still stands, …you have not failed me yet”
God’s ‘Promise of Rest’ still stands!
This is the time to help each other live within the purpose of God. Let the strong help the weak! Let’s stand in the prayer of agreement with one another.
For without our brethren, we are not complete. Without them entering their own joys we cannot be said to have fully entered ours! This is the whole purpose of a Kingdom Community as God intended!
LET US PRAY:
Step 1: Confess every known sin and cleanse with the Blood of Jesus.
Step 2: Loosen every guilt feeling from your mind. Command Satan, your accuser, to leave.
Now say out loud to yourself: “I come boldly to the throne of grace through the Blood of Jesus. Today I obtain the mercy of the Lord!”
Step 3: Read out LOUD the Prayer scriptures (as indicated below)
Step 4: Prayer & PRAISE CONFESSIONS (For as long as it requires).
- Proclaim out LOUD through your lips to yourself that ‘the Lord is giving me my inheritance!’
(Pray and sing in loud tongues for about 10 minutes)
Step 5: (A Prayer of Thanksgiving for 1-3 Mins): In plain language, and by faith thank the Lord God for the good gifts from Him to you even when those that are yet to be seen physically.
