Your Tongue Has Power
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
– Proverbs 18:21
“Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin.”
Proverbs 13:3 NIV
Monday February 20, 2023
As humans made in the image of God, our words have the power to create or destroy. Remember, the whole world and its systems were created by the words of God. This means speaking and words are deeply woven into the fabric of the world.
John 1 further buttresses this by telling us that all things were made through the word. The word of God is Jesus Christ, the son.
Seeing then that the world is subject to the world, children of God ought to be like our savior, we ought to speak and declare God’s counsel with boldness and authority.
Your tongue bears words that have the power to create and make things happen, use it to build righteousness and destroy evil. Use it to create pathways of prosperity and to bring down systems of satan.
Begin this week by making declarations based on the authority of the scriptures and your life will be richly blessed for it. Your tongue has power, don’t stop speaking.
LET US PRAY:
